Challenge
An existing nonprofit created a new entity to address the housing needs of isolated rural older adults. An institute wanted to make its research findings on issues facing older adults more impactful for decision-makers.
Approach
CFM guided sessions with the nonprofit's board of directors to define the purpose of the new outward-facing entity, then led an effort to rebrand the entire organization. For the institute, CFM made data and messaging more visually compelling and tailored its outreach to legislators to highlight problem areas that needed solutions.
Success
AGE+ has emerged as an influential and effective organization assisting older adults to age in place and receive equitable health care. The institute's influential findings underscored critical problems faced by older and disabled adults that required legislative and regulatory action.
